About Martin's Photography

My adventure with photography began many years ago born and bred in Norfolk England, I've always had a deep connection with the outdoors. wildlife and the natural world. My life has taken me to some far-off and fascinating places, including time serving in the British Army, which gave me the opportunity to travel, experience different cultures and see some incredible parts of the world.

Photography has become a natural extension of that curiosity. I particularly love wildlife and capturing animals in their natural surroundings, as well as landscapes, people and the unexpected moments that make a place memorable. I enjoy looking for details and moments that can easily be missed.

Animals have always played a huge part in my life. I've owned and cared for many different species, have a particular love of horses. I also worked in Landscaping and garden maintenance for many beautiful properties, while growing vegetables, plants and flowers for customers. This gave me an appreciation for beautiful surroundings, nature and the changing seasons.Away from the camera, I'm happiest outdoors. I love fishing, exploring new places and, perhaps somewhat inevitable for someone from Norfolk, I have a lifelong fascination with steam trains and he history, character and atmosphere the surrounds them. Whether it's a wild animal in its natural habitat , a beautiful landscape, an old steam locomotive or a fleeting moment that tells a story, I'm drawn to photography that captures character, atmosphere and authenticity.
